almost winter

Jacket - TK Maxx, Jeans - Primark

One day (when we still had some snow over here) we took couple of pics with my boyfriend. I really like the colours in these shots and I love the jacket of mine. Definitely one of the best purchases ever! Have been in use for two winters already, it's warm and it cost about nothing to be made out of wool and so on. And it looks nice :)

Other story then is my hair. It just looks.. I don't even know. The growth from the roots is so visible (as I haven't dyed my hair since July) and it's just not only the colour but also the model. I really don't know what's going on there, but hopefully I find some patience to wait them to grow so I'll be able to do something totally new! And I'd really like to get rid of that dyed part, but it's gonna be sooo long process..

Throwback Thursday; British Museum

As I've been visiting in London several times in my life, and the latest one of those was aimed at the British Museum, I decided to concentrate only for that one.
So. We arrived to Waterloo, took a tube and headed to the underground near by the museum. (My apologizes, I just can't remember the name of the station even if I tried to check maps and everything!)
The museum itself is enormous. It is big - not just big but huge. We didn't went inside through the front doors, but came out from those and I have to say the facade is impressive. As the museum is so big, I'd like to advise anyone who's going there to find out what parts interest you the most and go straight there. There's no sense trying to see everything at once.
We headed to see the mummies. And it was worth it. As we all are interested into the history and there were lots of interesting things to read, we spent quite a long time over there. Then we just went trough some other interesting sections faster and headed out. As we were visiting on Thursday there weren't so many visitors in London scale and it was kinda smooth to move around and there wasn't too much waiting.
And one thing I have to mention is the hotness. It was surely around 50 Celsius inside as it was around 30 Celsius outside. (But 30 felt nice and cool after sweating in the museum..) Air conditioning (if there even is one) helped nothing and at least I was pretty much nothing but dead after we left.. So, if you anyhow can decide - don't go to the British Museum during weekend or during the hottest day of your London visit. I bet that you'll enjoy your tour a lot more, if it's bit cooler and the place is not so crowded. When we had seen enough, we walked all the way to the Waterloo and it actually isn't so long walk! And who doesn't enjoy a walk in London anyway?
So as a conclusion, I recommend the British Museum if you like history and travel with a small budget as I do (as visiting is totally free). If you're able to avoid the most popular visiting times as weekend, and also boiling weathers it's even better :)

Leather boots.

Exactly two weeks ago I was shopping with my mom and my sister. One thing I was looking for was the perfect pair of shoes for winter. I actually didn't find them, but last week I decided to go and buy those which I saw in our local shoe shop.  And I think they're pretty cool!
Now I'm just waiting for colder weather, as they're totally winter boots with furry lining of them, I can't help but love them!

10/14

As I realized that we're living November now, I decided to make a post from October.
I baked and draw, and started making Xmas cards!
I brought my mug to school, enjoyed last pieces of autumn colours and got totally wet because of running in the rain..
I cooked, made a trip to the woods with my parents and our dog and rode in the jumping competition for the first time for ages.

Once I had a dream..

..and this is it!

Most probably I've already linked this piece of art over here, but anyway.

Only thing I have to say this time is this:
(pic: nightwish.com)
As people probably know, Nightwish is publishing a new album next spring and starting a world tour. They're heading to Finland too, and I have a ticket to Tampere! Excitement of mine isn't decreasing due the fact that this is the second time I'm going to see Nightwish and Sonata Arctica is going to play before them. It's gonna be an epic nightwish!

Cold never bothered me anyway..

..wait what. Anyway - today I woke up, went downstairs and took a look outside. It had been snowing. A lot. Yesterday there was no snow at all and now it's totally winter. Thermometer says -10 degrees. I actually like! But if trusting forecasts temperature is likely to increase again within two days. But let's enjoy adventurous ways to the school by bike and slipping about fifty times during one jogging round!

Tänään herätessäni ja mennessäni alakertaan, katsahdin ikkunasta ulos. Oli satanut lunta, paljon lunta. Eilen siitä ei ollut tietoakaan, mutta nyt talvi näyttää todella tulleen. Lämpömittarissa on kymmenen astetta pakkasta, tykkään!
